The Boys and the Frogs

In a beautiful pond lived a family of three generations of frogs, who lived peacefully and happily.

But one day, a group of little boys arrived.

They took turns throwing stones into the pond and watched with great delight as the stones splashed and caused ripples.

They threw stones faster and faster, more and more, becoming increasingly joyful with their laughter echoing.

However, the frog family in the pond was terrified. They became more and more afraid, as they might get hit at any moment.

The little frog cried.

Grandfather Frog couldn’t bear it anymore. Risking being hit by stones, he emerged from the water and said to the boys, “Children, please stop. You are having fun, but you haven’t considered that it’s very cruel to us, as it means death.”

This story teaches us: Don’t build your happiness on the suffering of others.
