Seven Dwarfs

On their way back from a banquet in a neighboring kingdom, the Queen deliberately chose the forest path, intending for wild beasts to devour Snow White.

As the Queen passed by the house of the Seven Dwarfs, she overheard them complaining about a leaky roof but being unsure of how to fix it.

She had an idea and stopped, saying, “What’s the point in fixing this old house? I am Queen Liss, and I can help you build a new one as beautiful as the palace!”

“Really?”

The Seven Dwarfs were overjoyed.

However, the eldest dwarf, who was very cautious, said, “But there’s no such thing as a free lunch. Surely, you want something from us?”

“Smart! Snow White is behind me and will soon pass through here. I need you to do something for me.”

She took out a dagger and said, “There are many wild beasts in the forest that will eat her, but just in case…”

She handed the dagger to the dwarfs. “Understand?”

“Understood!”

The Queen left, satisfied.

The next day, the Queen, furious, confronted the dwarfs and raged, “You untrustworthy dwarfs! You promised to kill Snow White for me, but she has returned to the palace completely unharmed!”

The dwarfs, surprised, said, “You wanted us to kill Snow White? We thought you gave us the dagger to protect her, to fight the wild beasts if they attacked!”

“What do you take us for? We dwarfs would never kill someone for a house.”

“Besides, Snow White helped us fix our house and cleaned it thoroughly. We are good friends now and would never betray her.”

The Seven Dwarfs chased the Queen away.
