The Wolf and Tiger Fight a Fire

In the quiet of the night, the Big Bad Wolf and the Tiger came to the house of the seven little goats again.

As soon as they reached the door, their eyes lit up—the door was wide open!

They trembled with joy.

Jimmy said, “Big brother, usually Mama Goat, Bailey, is very cautious. She always locks the door tightly at night, not even a fly could get in. I can’t believe she forgot to lock the door tonight. Look, the lights are off. They must be asleep. Let’s go in and eat them now!”

Tyson replied, “What are we waiting for?”

The two rushed into the house, headed straight for the bedroom, and pounced, ready to eat the little goats.

But they hit nothing.

In the moonlight streaming in, they saw that the beds were empty—there were no little goats.

At that moment, they smelled something.

They quickly ran to the living room and were met with a wave of thick smoke, causing them to cough violently.

Jimmy, coughing and panic-stricken, said, “Oh no, big brother, the little goats’ house is on fire.”

“Let’s get out of here!”

They ran out hurriedly.

Still coughing and in disarray, they looked at each other and said:

“Your face is all black from the smoke.”

“Your whiskers almost got burned.”

As they were talking, a beam of light shone on them.

They saw it was Elephant Police Officer Bobby, Giraffe Firefighter, and their team, with the family of seven little goats standing beside them.

It turned out that the little goat family had been asleep but woke up to find their house on fire.

They quickly ran out and went to the neighbor’s house to call the fire department.

Elephant Police Officer Bobby happened to be patrolling nearby. He saw Jimmy and Tyson run into the little goats’ house and stopped his car immediately.

Bobby looked at Jimmy and Tyson suspiciously and said, “Why are you coming out of the little goats’ house? You weren’t planning to eat them again, were you?”

Jimmy quickly said, “What are you talking about? We were just passing by and saw the little goats’ house on fire, so we rushed in to help put out the fire.”

The Giraffe said, “Since you’re so enthusiastic, hurry up and help put out the fire. We are short of hands tonight.”

The fire was quickly extinguished.

Bailey and White said happily, “Thanks to everyone, our house didn’t suffer too much damage!”

Jimmy and Tyson, exhausted and collapsed on the ground, couldn’t believe that they had come to eat the little goats but ended up helping put out a fire in their house!
