After Lucky Rabbit recovered from the cold, he played happily with the small animals.
But he seemed to be playing like crazy, playing day and night, and refused to sleep when it was time to go to bed.
That day, late at night, all his friends were gone, and little Lucky was still playing with his toys.
Lucky’s mother asked him to go to bed quickly, but little Lucky said: “I don’t want to go to bed yet, I’m not sleepy yet. Look, these toys are not available on our planet T. They are so fun.”
Lucky’s mother said: “If you don’t sleep, how can you have the energy to play with the little animals tomorrow?”
Lucky said: “I’m full of energy!”
Lucky’s father said again: “Lucky, if you don’t sleep, how will you have the strength to run if you encounter a tiger?”
The little flying rabbit said: “I don’t have to run, I can fly, the tiger can’t fly, I’m not afraid of him!”
Lucky Rabbit played until very late before going to bed.
The next day, Lucky happily played with the small animals again.
They played hide-and-seek, and Lucky Rabbit hid in a patch of hay. His eyelids suddenly felt heavy and he wanted to sleep.
He thought to himself: It seems that mom was right; not sleeping really does make me lack energy.
At that moment, a bird passing by noticed Lucky Rabbit, who was about to fall asleep, and hurriedly said, “Lucky, don’t sleep here! You might catch a cold again, and besides, there are tigers and wolves around here—dangerous beasts!”
But Lucky Rabbit could no longer raise his eyelids, and he said, “I’m just going to sleep for a while… just for a while.”
Lucky actually fell asleep.
Sure enough, the little bird was right. At this time, a tiger discovered Lucky.
The tiger thought in surprise: “There is actually a rabbit here! It looks white and tender. They say rabbits are cunning. This rabbit actually fell asleep right here, just in time to be my lunch!”
He quietly stepped forward step by step.
Little Lucky was sleeping soundly and didn’t notice the danger at all.
The tiger was so happy that he almost laughed out loud, thinking: He is indeed a stupid rabbit.
So he pounced…
But instead, he missed and seemed to have been kicked twice.
It turned out that at this critical moment, Lucky’s father and mother arrived. They pulled little Lucky to fly into the sky and kicked the tiger.
Little Lucky was very ashamed and decided to go to bed on time every day from now on.
