Why Does the Tiger Have a Lump on His Head?

Late at night, Tiger Tyson and big bad wolf Jimmy quietly made their way to the home of the seven goat, intending to sneak in and break in.

Jimmy asked as they walked, “Big brother, why hasn’t the bump on your head gone away?”

Tiger groaned in pain, “It hurts so much! Don’t mention it. Remember, don’t tell anyone how I got this bump, or you’ll be in big trouble!”

Jimmy quickly replied, “Why would I say anything? I’d be in trouble too. I’m just worried about you always being so impatient. Last time, we almost got caught because you couldn’t keep quiet. Let’s not make a fuss this time.”

They arrived at the doorstep of the goats’ house, listening closely to the sounds inside.

Just then, the Seven Goats were comfortably lying in bed, getting ready to sleep, while their mother went to pour them some milk.

They began chatting amongst themselves.

The eldest said, “Did you hear it last night? It rained so heavily. I hope it doesn’t rain again tonight.”

The second said, “Really? How come I didn’t hear anything?”

The third said, “Of course it’s true, and there was even thunder and lightning.”

The fourth said, “Nonsense, I didn’t hear a thing!”

The fifth said, “It’s true, and it even hailed.”

The sixth said, “Nonsense! That’s getting ridiculous. It’s almost summer, how could it hail?”

The seventh said, “It’s true, I was woken up by it.”

“Yes!”

“No!”

“Yes!”

The Seven Goat began arguing, but then they heard a roar from outside saying, “Stop!”

The Seven Goats froze and timidly said, “It’s… it’s the tiger again. Why are you outside our house?”

“I just wanted to tell you little fools that not only was there thunder and lightning last night, but it also rained heavily and hailed!”

“How do you know that? Didn’t you sleep? What evidence do you have?”

“What evidence do I have? Because I was busy trying to break into your house last night! Suddenly there was thunder and lightning, heavy rain, and even hail. This bump on my head is from being hit by hail! If that’s not evidence, then what is?”

Before he could finish his sentence, the tiger felt the big bad wolf pulling him away.

“What are you doing? I haven’t finished yet!”

“Big brother, you told me not to tell anyone how you got the bump on your head, but now you’re confessing everything. Now everyone knows we were trying to break in last night. The police will be here soon. Shouldn’t we leave before they come?”

The tiger looked around and saw that the houses around them were all lit up, and people were peeking through their windows, pointing and whispering.
