When Ball and Handsome Cat left the cat castle, Ball was like a wild horse that had just been freed, happily running all around.
Christmas was approaching, and they were heading to another forest to deliver gifts from Ball’s mom to her friends.
Handsome Cat said, “Look at you! Did you forget the promise you made to Mom before leaving? You weren’t supposed to run around on the way!”
But Ball didn’t answer.
Handsome Cat looked around, but Ball was nowhere to be seen.
Worried, Handsome Cat began searching everywhere.
Suddenly, he spotted a tiger lying under a tree.
Handsome Cat was startled and thought, Could it be that Ball’s been eaten by the tiger?
Cautiously, he approached the tiger and, upon closer inspection, realized it was sound asleep.
But where was Ball?
As Handsome Cat pondered this, he heard Ball calling, “Big Handsome, help!”
Handsome Cat rushed toward the voice.
He saw several large, menacing wolves carrying Ball toward the Wolf Castle. The leader was the same big bad wolf they’d encountered before.
Without hesitation, Handsome Cat jumped out and shouted, “Put Ball down!”
Seeing Handsome Cat, Ball was overjoyed. He called out to the wolves, “Why haven’t you put me down yet? Don’t you know what Handsome is capable of?”
The wolf chuckled darkly and sneered at Ball, “We know this demon cat has some tricks, which is exactly why we’ve captured you! You little fool have no real skills, so you’ll make a perfect hostage!”
The leader turned to Handsome Cat. “You demon cat, last time you used some magic to save that lamb and turned us into you, making us fight each other! Remember this: If you see us wolves in the future, you better step aside, or don’t blame me for not being kind to your friend here!”
The wolves continued carrying Ball toward the Wolf Castle, and Ball, now terrified, called out for Handsome Cat again.
Handsome Cat, however, replied, “They won’t harm you. Just go with them.”
Then he turned and began walking away.
Ball watched Handsome Cat’s retreating figure, tears streaming down his face. “Big Handsome, are you abandoning me?” he cried.
The big bad wolves laughed. “Looks like this demon cat is leaving you! Come with us to the Wolf Castle and be our hostage!”
But as the wolves walked further, something felt off. They noticed that the kitten was getting heavier and heavier.
When they looked again, they were shocked to see that the “cat” had transformed into a huge tiger. No wonder it was so heavy!
Although the tiger remained asleep, the wolves were terrified.
One wolf whispered, “We need to put this tiger down quickly! When it wakes up, we don’t know what it’ll do to us!”
The leader wolf growled, “Everyone, stay calm! This is just another trick by that demon cat! Last time he turned into a tiger to scare us, and later, he turned us into him. This time, he’s probably using this tiger to try to frighten us into letting it go. We can’t fall for it. This tiger is still the cat. We must take it back to the Wolf Castle as a hostage!”
The other wolves nodded in agreement. “Big Bro’s right!”
The wolves struggled to carry the heavy tiger toward the Wolf Castle.
Meanwhile, they had no idea that Ball and Handsome Cat were hiding in the nearby bushes, watching and trying to stifle their laughter.
Ball said, “The bad wolves are so dumb! They still think the tiger is me!”
Handsome Cat chuckled. “Yes, they’ve outsmarted themselves.”
It turns out that Handsome Cat had pretended to leave, but secretly switched the sleeping tiger under the tree with Ball. After all, Handsome Cat is a magical, alien cat.
Later, it was reported that when the wolves brought the tiger back to the Wolf Castle, despite the cold weather, they were sweating profusely because the tiger was so heavy.
It’s said that the tiger eventually woke up, and something happened—but unfortunately, by the time Ball and Handsome Cat got home, it was too late to catch the news report from the Wolf Castle.
