The Kitten Learns to Climb a Tree

The mother of the little cat Ball has something on her mind, which is that Ball can’t climb trees and is unwilling to learn.

She said to Ball, “Climbing is an essential skill for us cats, how can you not learn?”

But no matter what she said, Ball refused to learn.

In fact, when Ball had just learned to climb, it was adorable climbing everywhere.

But one time it climbed to the roof and couldn’t get down. If it hadn’t been for Handsome Cat flying up to rescue it, who knows how it would have ended up.

Since that incident, Ball doesn’t love climbing anymore.

Ball’s mother asked Handsome cat to persuade Ball.

So Handsome said to Ball, “If you can’t climb, what will you do when you encounter tigers, wolves, and other fierce beasts?”

Ball said, “Isn’t there you? You’re a flying cat, you can definitely handle them!”

Handsome said, “What if I’m not around you?”

Ball said, “There are police guarding the cat castle! As long as I don’t leave the cat castle, I’ll be very safe!”

Everyone felt helpless when they heard this.

But one day, while Ball was at home reading comics, he suddenly felt something was wrong.

It seemed like someone was staring at him from behind, sending shivers down his spine.

When he turned around, oh my goodness! It was a big bad wolf!

It was climbing in through the window from outside.

Ball shouted for his mom and dad, but no one answered him.

Then he remembered, his mom and dad had gone to visit his grandma today.

Luckily, Handsome Cat was next door. With his skills, he could surely blow the wolf away.

So Ball opened the door and ran as fast as he could to Handsome’s house.

While running, Ball kept calling out “Big Handsome.”

But there was no one at Handsome’s house.

Just as Ball was getting anxious, he felt the shivers down his spine again.

When he looked back, the wolf had already chased to Handsome’s house and was climbing in through the window again.

Ball, scared, quickly opened the door and ran outside.

He ran to a tree and remembered, yes, he heard that  wolves can’t climb trees, so climbing up a tree would be the right move.

Ball hugged the tree and started to climb up.

But to his surprise, he only took a few steps before falling down.

After all, it had been a long time since he had climbed.

Ball quickly got up and continued climbing, knowing that the big bad wolf was closely behind him.

Ball grasped the tree trunk tightly and struggled to climb up.

Before long, he saw branches and leaves.

When he looked down, he felt overjoyed; he had climbed quite high, and the wolf couldn’t reach him now.

Ball breathed a sigh of relief, clutching onto the branches, wanting to see where the wolf was.

He saw the wolf staring up at him from below, unable to do anything.

Ball laughed and said, “Now you know about our cat’s skills, right?”

The wolf said, “Take a good look at who I am.”

Ball looked and saw that the wolf had turned into Handsome Cat.

At that moment, Ball’s mom and dad appeared.

It turned out that Ball’s parents, in order to make Ball learn skills, had discussed this plan with Handsome Cat.

They had Handsome transform into the wolf to let Ball know that there are dangers in the forest at any time, making him understand the importance of learning skills like climbing trees.

Upon hearing this, Ball understood the efforts of his parents and Handsome Cat.

He said, “From now on, I will seriously learn to climb trees and acquire skills!”

With that, Ball carefully climbed down from the tree step by step.

For him, the hardest part was climbing down, which was why he almost fell last time, and since then, he had been too scared to climb again.

But Ball decided that he must learn it no matter what.
