One hot day, Piggy Roly was planning to go to the beach to play ball. But his mother wouldn’t let him go, because the weather forecast said a Hurricane was coming.
However, Piggy sneaked out anyway.
While he was happily playing with the ball at the beach, a strong wind suddenly blew in from the sea.
The loudspeakers on the beach were urging everyone to go home quickly because the Hurricane was arriving.
But Piggy felt the cool breeze and didn’t want to go back. Instead, he ran closer to the shore.
Suddenly, a huge wave rushed toward him.
The wave was as tall as several stories, and Piggy was so scared that he turned and tried to run away.
But it was too late. The wave swept him into the sea.
Piggy couldn’t swim, so he swallowed some seawater and struggled in the water, but he couldn’t even scream for help.
Just then, Uncle Dolphin appeared. He gently lifted Piggy and started swimming toward the shore.
But another big wave came and swept Piggy away again.
Piggy floundered in the water, and in his desperate struggle, he seemed to grab onto something. Fearing that he might be swept away again, he held on tightly to it.
The thing he grabbed onto swam toward the shore with Piggy.
Once they reached the beach, Piggy was about to thank his rescuer, but when he looked, he was surprised to see that it was the Big Bad Wolf, Dot!
The Wolf noticed Piggy as well. He picked him up angrily and growled, “I got swept into the sea by that huge wave, and now you’re sitting on my back! No wonder I felt heavier and almost sank! Now I’m going to eat you to regain some strength!”
The Wolf opened his mouth to eat Piggy Roly, but just then, another gust of wind blew in. The wind was so strong that Wolf couldn’t control himself and was blown far away. He barely managed to grab onto a big tree to stop himself, and at that point, he had no time to think about eating Piggy.
After the Wolf let go of Piggy, the wind blew him far away again. The strong wind sent Piggy tumbling, rolling, and scrambling.
Luckily, he eventually managed to grab onto a bush. A rabbit, who lived near the bush, opened the door and let Piggy hide inside.
From this experience, Piggy Roly realized how dangerous a Hurricane could be and never again dared to go outside during a Hurricane.
