There was a big bad wolf who couldn’t find any food on the mountain and was starving, so it had to go down the mountain to find something to eat.
It came to a farmhouse and heard the crying of children inside.
The big bad wolf was overjoyed.
It reached out to push the door open, but the door was tightly locked.
It then tried to get in through the window, but after circling the house, it found that the windows were also tightly shut.
Feeling very frustrated, the big bad wolf was about to leave when it heard the voice of an old woman from inside saying, “My dear grandchild, stop crying. If you cry again, I’ll throw you out to feed the wolf.”
The big bad wolf was thrilled to hear this unexpected turn of events.
So, it quickly turned around, crouched outside the door, and patiently waited for the old woman to throw the child out for him to eat.
But as night fell, the old woman still hadn’t thrown the child out.
The big bad wolf considered leaving, but it couldn’t bear to do so after waiting for so long.
So it continued to wait until deep into the night when everyone was about to sleep.
Once again, the big bad wolf heard the old woman inside saying, “Child, be good and go to sleep. I will protect you. If the wolf comes, I’ll kill it!”
Upon hearing this, the big bad wolf jumped up and as it ran away, it muttered, “This old lady says one thing and does another! She’s made me starve all day!”
