The Flying Fish

If you see a fish flying in the sky, don’t be surprised; it might be the flying fish of the little princess.

The little princess is a young magician. As a magician, the first thing she learned was how to fly on a broom, but she would fall off eight times out of ten.

So her magician master tried various ways and finally created a flying apparatus called the flying fish to replace the broom.

Speaking of this flying apparatus, it is much more powerful than a broom. After all, the little princess’s magician master is said to come from the future world, and the magicians of the future are naturally more powerful than those of the present.

The little princess still remembers the scene when her magician master gave her the flying apparatus.

That day, the magician master handed a piece of paper to the little princess.

When the little princess took a look, it was a fish made of cut paper.

The little princess said, “I never expected that my master is not only proficient in magic but also a master of paper cutting. Unfortunately, I have no interest in paper cutting; otherwise, I would definitely learn it from you.”

The magician master replied, “This is not just ordinary paper cutting; it’s a flying apparatus that can take you flying like a broom. Since you often fall off the broom, I specially made this flying fish for you. From now on, you can call it the flying fish!”

The little princess, puzzled, asked, “This fish made of paper, can it carry me?”

The magician master explained, “As long as you use the magic I teach you, this paper fish will immediately transform into a flying apparatus that can carry a person. After use, it can turn back into a piece of paper and fit into your pocket.”

The little princess was delighted and immediately asked the magician master to teach her the magic.

The magician master recited a few incantations, and indeed, the paper fish inflated like a balloon, transforming into a flying ship. The appearance of this ship was like a fish, and inside, it could comfortably seat two or three people.

The princess was overjoyed, thinking, “Now I can not only fly up to the sky in this flying fish but also bring Ring along! I won’t be afraid of falling anymore!”

Ring was the little princess’s maid, almost the same age as the princess. She was brought from outside the palace by the princess. The two played together and grew up together, forming a close sister-like bond.

However, Ring’s personality was completely different from the fearless nature of the little princess; she was quite timid.

When the little princess asked her to sit on the broom and fly into the sky, she waved her hands in fear.

Seeing the little princess fall down, she became even more scared.

The princess thought, “With this flying fish, Ring won’t be afraid anymore! The world is so vast; in the future, I can take her with me and explore together!”

In the days to come, the princess and Ring would experience many adventures!
