The Lion King was leading his pride to battle against invading lions. As they passed by an Ass, the Ass burst into loud laughter and mocked, “So you’re the King of the Grasslands? And the Lion King? King of all kings? Everyone says you’re powerful, but to me, you look completely ordinary. Maybe I’m even stronger than you! Dare to compete with me?”

All the other lions thought the Lion King would be furious and teach the Ass a lesson. But to their surprise, the Lion King merely glanced at the Ass and kept walking.

“Your Majesty, why not put him in his place? Show him your power!”

Without even turning his head, the Lion King replied, “Why waste time on a fool when we have more important things to do?”

Moral of the story:
Don’t waste your energy getting angry at foolish people—ignore them.
