Little Red Riding Hood 2024

Once upon a time, there was a very lovely and beautiful little girl who was loved by everyone. Because she often wore a red hooded cloak that her grandmother had given her, everyone called her Little Red Riding Hood.

One day, her grandmother fell ill, and her mother said to her: “Little Red Riding Hood, take some delicious food to your grandmother to help her feel better. Be careful on the way. Stick to the main road, as the shortcut is dangerous and you might meet the big bad wolf. If you see him, call for help loudly.”

Little Red Riding Hood agreed and set off for her grandmother’s house with the food her mother had prepared.

However, she soon forgot her mother’s warning. She thought that by taking the shortcut, she could reach her grandmother’s house faster, so she decided to go that way.

At that moment, a big bad wolf saw her. He hid behind a tree, watching the tender, rosy-cheeked Little Red Riding Hood, and couldn’t help but salivate. The hunter had been chasing him for days, and he was so hungry he was desperate.

The wolf thought about immediately jumping out and eating Little Red Riding Hood, but he knew the hunter was nearby, and any movement might attract his attention.

So, he decided to first gather some information. He jumped out from behind the tree, forced a smile, and said in a friendly tone, “Little girl, you’re so cute! What’s your name? Where are you going?”

Little Red Riding Hood, forgetting her mother’s warning, replied, “I’m Little Red Riding Hood. I’m going to the red house on the hill. It’s my grandmother’s house. She’s sick, and I’m going to see her and bring her some food to help her get better.”

The wolf was overjoyed. He decided that he would eat both Little Red Riding Hood and her grandmother.

With a wicked thought, he said to her, “Oh, you’re going to visit your grandmother! But when you visit a sick person, you should bring a bouquet of fresh flowers. Look at the beautiful flowers in the little woods over there—why don’t you go and pick a bunch to bring to her?”

Little Red Riding Hood thought to herself: “That’s a great idea! Grandmother will be so happy to see such beautiful flowers.”

She thanked the wolf and skipped off to pick the flowers.

Meanwhile, the wolf sprinted toward her grandmother’s house.

When he reached the door, he lowered his voice and imitated Little Red Riding Hood’s voice, saying, “Grandmother, it’s Little Red Riding Hood. I’ve come to see you. Please open the door!”

Grandmother, hearing what sounded like Little Red Riding Hood, was happy and was about to open the door. But then she thought something was wrong. Little Red Riding Hood’s voice was always clear and sweet, but this voice sounded so rough and hoarse.

She peeked through the crack in the door and was so frightened she broke out in a cold sweat. To her horror, it was the big bad wolf!

Luckily, there was a back door. She quickly opened it and ran out.

The wolf, calling a few times without receiving an answer, angrily kicked the door open. But when he entered the house, he found it empty.

Seeing the back door wide open, he immediately understood what had happened and cursed to himself, “That old woman has escaped!”

Just then, he heard someone knocking on the door.

“Grandmother, it’s Little Red Riding Hood! Open the door, I’ve brought you some delicious food and some pretty flowers.”

“The old woman is gone, but this tender little girl won’t escape my grasp!”

The wolf thought to himself, filled with excitement. He jumped onto the bed, pulled the covers over himself, and in a hoarse voice, tried to imitate the grandmother’s voice, saying, “The door’s not locked, Little Red Riding Hood, come on in!”

Little Red Riding Hood, startled by the strange voice, said, “Grandmother, why is your voice so hoarse? It doesn’t sound like you.”

The wolf deliberately coughed twice and said, “I’m sick, my voice is a little rough. Come in, dear, your grandmother is eager to see you.”

So, Little Red Riding Hood stopped doubting and quickly opened the door and walked in.

She saw her grandmother lying in bed, completely covered by the blankets, looking very strange.

“Grandmother, why do you have such big ears?” Little Red Riding Hood asked.

“To hear you better, my dear!” the wolf replied.

“Grandmother, why do you have such big eyes?” she asked again.

“To see you better, my dear!” the wolf answered.

“Grandmother, why do you have such a big mouth?” she asked, feeling confused.

“To eat you better, my dear!” the wolf growled.

At that moment, the wolf threw off the covers, leaped out of bed, and revealed his true form, lunging at Little Red Riding Hood with hunger and malice.

But suddenly, he collapsed to the ground, shot by a gun.

Little Red Riding Hood turned around and saw her grandmother and the hunter standing in the doorway.

It turned out that after escaping through the back door, grandmother had quickly gone to find the hunter. Just as Little Red Riding Hood was about to be eaten by the wolf, they arrived just in time to save her.

From that day on, Little Red Riding Hood learned to stick to the main road and always be cautious of the big bad wolf and other dangers.
