Once upon a time, there was a lovely and beautiful little girl. Since she often wore a little red hood gifted by her grandmother, everyone called her Little Red Riding Hood.
One day, her mother asked her to bring some gifts to visit her sick grandmother. On her way, she encountered a big bad wolf.
The wolf pretended to be kind and asked where she was going.
Little Red Riding Hood replied, “I’m going to visit my grandmother. She lives in the red house on the hillside.”
The wolf’s eyes gleamed as he thought, I’ll eat her and her grandmother too! He then said, “Look at the pretty flowers by the roadside. Why not pick a bouquet for your grandmother?”
Little Red Riding Hood thought it was a good idea and happily ran to pick some flowers.
Meanwhile, the wolf ran swiftly to the grandmother’s house. Imitating Little Red Riding Hood’s voice, he called out for her grandmother to open the door.
But after calling several times without any response, he angrily kicked the door open, only to find that the grandmother had escaped through the back door.
Just then, Little Red Riding Hood arrived. She called out from outside the door, “Grandmother, it’s me, Little Red Riding Hood! I’ve brought you some treats and a beautiful bouquet. Please open the door!”
The wolf quickly jumped onto the bed, covered himself with a blanket, and pretended to be the grandmother.
When Little Red Riding Hood entered, she noticed that her grandmother looked very strange. While she was puzzled, the wolf suddenly leapt towards her.
However, the wolf collapsed to the ground—it had been shot.
It turned out that the grandmother had spotted the wolf through a crack in the door and fled to find a hunter. Just as the wolf was about to devour Little Red Riding Hood, the hunter arrived just in time.
From that day on, Little Red Riding Hood always walked on the main road and stayed alert for big bad wolves like this one.
