One day, Mama Pig was going out. Before leaving, she reminded Piggy Roly not to open the door to strangers. Piggy promised.
After Mama Pig left, Piggy started drawing. He drew the elephant police officer who had once saved him.
When he finished, he hung the drawing in his room. He admired his artwork while thinking, “Even though it’s not a great drawing, it does capture how the elephant police officer looked so mighty when he faced off with the bad tiger!”
Just then, someone knocked on the door.
“Who’s there?” asked Piggy.
“I’m here to deliver a cake, someone sent a big cake to your house.”
But outside, it was Tiger King, who had been thinking about roasting a pig for a meal. He had disguised himself to sneak into Pig City again.
When Roly heard that there was a cake, he was excited and about to open the door. But then he suddenly remembered what his mother had told him, so he had to say, “My mama’s not home, and she said I shouldn’t open the door to strangers.”
Tiger King was even more pleased to hear this.
“Even better! Don’t worry, I’m not a bad guy. The elephant police officer from the Animal Kingdom is my friend!”
When Piggy heard that he knew the elephant police officer, he quickly ran to open the door.
As soon as the door opened, Tiger King rushed in eagerly. He threw off his disguise, revealing his true identity. Piggy immediately recognized him and froze in fear.
Tiger King also recognized Roly. He laughed loudly and said, “I didn’t expect it, but in the end, you’ve fallen into my hands! Now I’m going to eat you up!”
Piggy shook with fear, regretting not listening to Mama’s advice. But now, he had to think of a way to save himself.
“Don’t do anything rash! The elephant police officer is visiting my house right now. He’s in the room. If you dare eat me, he won’t let you get away with it!”
“You little trickster, you’re trying to fool me again?” Tiger King sneered.
Piggy quickly thought, “The elephant police officer is in the room, but that’s just the picture I drew of him. It doesn’t look like him at all, and it’s much smaller than the real thing!”
At that moment, Piggy spotted a magnifying glass on the table and had an idea.
“Why don’t you take a look for yourself? But you have to peek through the door crack. If the elephant uncle sees you, I won’t be able to save you!”
Tiger King cautiously opened the door just a little.
“Wait!” Piggy said. “Use this to look!”
He handed the magnifying glass to Tiger King.
“Why should I use the magnifying glass?”
“The crack in the door is so small that you need the magnifying glass to see clearly.”
The Tiger King, holding the magnifying glass, peered through the crack in the door.
To his surprise, he saw a large elephant holding a gun.
“Well… there seems to be a big elephant, but it doesn’t look quite right…”
“Of course, it’s hard to see clearly through the crack in the door. Plus, the magnifying glass distorts things. Anyway, that’s the elephant uncle. Don’t make a fuss, hurry up and hide in the other room. When the elephant uncle leaves, you can come out.”
Piggy opened another room door while saying this. Tiger King quickly rushed inside.
Piggy immediately locked the door behind him and called the police.
The elephant police officer arrived right away and captured Tiger King.
When Mama Pig came home, she praised Piggy for his quick thinking. Piggy also learned the important lesson not to open the door to strangers.
