In the animal kingdom, all the young animals had to get vaccinated.
Early in the morning, Mommy Pig took Piggy Roly to Dr. Monkey’s clinic for a shot.
As soon as they entered, they saw many other little animals there for the same reason.
Roly spotted Kitty Mimi and quickly ran over.
“Mimi, you’re here too? Aren’t you the most afraid of shots?”
Mimi frowned and said, “Yes, I am, but my mom wouldn’t let me skip it.”
Just then, Lamb Curl ran up and asked, “Getting shots hurts! Why do our parents insist on it?”
Piggy Roly replied, “My mom says that if we don’t get vaccinated now, we might get sick later and need even more shots and medicine. But do you think they might just be tricking us?”
At that moment, there was a commotion. They turned to look and saw that the Tiger family had arrived.
Officer Elephant reassured everyone, “Don’t be afraid! We’re here.”
Roly was surprised. “Even the tigers are here? Are they bringing the little tiger for a shot too?”
“I remember last time we got vaccinated, they passed by the clinic, and Dr. Monkey invited the little tiger in for a shot. But his dad said that tigers are strong and don’t need vaccines.”
Dr. Monkey explained, “That’s exactly why the little tiger often gets sick and has to take medicine and get more shots. His dad learned his lesson, so he brought him in today.”
Hearing this, Tiger King glared at Dr. Monkey.
Roly realized, “So Mom wasn’t lying! If we don’t get vaccinated, we can get sick easily.”
Kitty Mimi nodded, “Even though I’m really scared of shots, I guess we just have to be brave.”
Roly and Curl agreed.
When it was time for their shots, they all felt scared. But to stay healthy and avoid getting sick later, they bravely endured the pain.
