One day, the Animal Kingdom launched a special mission to rescue kitten Mimi’s aunt.
Cat Aunt had been captured by bad guys and taken to the city. According to the pigeon’s intelligence, she would be passing by here today, so everyone agreed to rescue her.
The animals set off in a grand procession—some flew, some ran, some jumped.
But they didn’t know that King Tiger and Wolf Dot were quietly trailing behind.
Uncle White Horse had Piggy Roly and kitten Mimi sit on his back, carrying them through the forest, over a hillside, until they reached the side of a road.
A scouting pigeon flew hurriedly in front of them and urgently said, “She’s coming, she’s coming!”
Following the pigeon’s gaze, they saw a small white truck approaching from afar.
Just as the truck was about to get close, the elephant used his trunk to push a large tree stump down the hillside, which landed perfectly in front of the truck.
With a clatter, the truck came to a stop.
A man got out, muttering curses—everyone recognized him as the Cat Thief. As he cursed, he went to push the tree stump away.
Taking advantage of the distraction, kitten Mimi’s family and the monkey quickly ran down the hillside. They reached the truck door, where the monkey deftly opened it.
Inside were many cages, all filled with cats. Kitten Mimi immediately recognized his aunt and hurried over to open her cage.
Just as they were about to leave, they heard the other cats cry, “Help us! We want to get out too!”
So they quickly freed the other cats as well.
Mission accomplished! Everyone ran back up the hillside—but they were spotted by the Cat Thief.
He noticed the truck door was wide open and, upon looking inside, found that all the cats had escaped.
He shouted, “Who stole my cats?”
Turning around, he saw animals scattering across the hillside and immediately understood.
Grabbing a birdshot gun from the truck, he chased after them up the hillside, shouting, “You insolent bunch of animals! You’ve practically set a trap for yourselves—now I’ll catch you all at once and sell you for a good price!”
Everyone grew a bit nervous.
Just then, a tiger roared and a wolf howled.
The animals were startled, and the Cat Thief was even more terrified. Looking up the hillside, he saw a tiger and a big gray wolf.
Frightened, he quickly ran back to the truck, made a U-turn, and sped away in a flash.
The elephant walked up to the tiger and said, “This time, you’ve finally done something good by saving everyone…”
The tiger replied coldly, “I’m not saving them for their sake. If they get caught, what will I eat?”
Then he turned to the wolf and said, “Come to this little hillside tonight—I have a special assignment for you.”
