The Hedgehog and the Tiger

One day, when Piggy Roly and Lamb Curl were playing outside, they saw a strawberry that could walk.

This was very strange—how could a strawberry walk? They watched as it slowly climbed up a tree.

Upon taking a closer look, they realized that the strawberry was stuck in something spiky. That spiky thing was climbing the tree too, and the strawberry was moving forward.

Piggy and Lamb shouted together, “It’s a little hedgehog!”

The little hedgehog had spikes all over its back, and that spiky thing was the hedgehog itself.

The little hedgehog got startled when it heard someone call it. It was very timid and was about to curl up when it accidentally fell from the tree.

Piggy and Lamb screamed, worried about the little hedgehog.

However, the little hedgehog didn’t fall to the ground. Instead, it landed on top of an animal’s head.

Who did it land on? It landed on Tiger King! He and Wolf Dot were resting under the tree and hadn’t expected the little hedgehog to land on him.

The spikes on the hedgehog’s back pricked the tiger’s head like needles, causing it to howl in pain.

When the tiger saw it was the little hedgehog, it glared and said, “You little thing, you must be tired of living! Do you know what happens when you mess with the tiger’s head?”

As the tiger spoke, it reached out to grab the hedgehog, but the moment its paw touched the hedgehog, it quickly pulled back as if it had been pricked by needles.

Wolf Dot took two steps back and said, “Big bro, don’t you remember last time when durian spines left your paws all bloody? We should stay away from anything spiky, whether it’s an animal or a plant!”

The tiger glared at the hedgehog and then left with the gray wolf.

Piggy and Lamb quickly ran up.

Piggy Roly said, “Little hedgehog, you’re amazing! Even the tiger can’t do anything to you!”

The little hedgehog spread out its body and revealed its head. It chuckled, “It’s nothing special. Our spikes are our weapons to protect ourselves from enemies!”

Lamb Curl said, “But why did you stick a strawberry on your back? We thought the strawberry could walk!”

“I was eating strawberries in the strawberry field, and they were so delicious! I wanted to bring one home for my mom to try, so I used my spikes to stick it on and carry it back.”

The spikes on the little hedgehog’s back were like toothpicks, perfect for impaling fruit.

Piggy Roly said, “How interesting! Your spikes are not just weapons, but can also be used like hands!”
