The little cottage had been battered by wind, rain, and a tiger’s attack, making the dwarfs realize it was too flimsy. They decided to rebuild it.
“Lazy, this is all your fault! When we built the house, you kept talking about saving time and effort, which is why the cottage always leaks and drafts. We nearly got eaten by a tiger because of it!”
Lazy was an expert in this field, but he was just too lazy and always looked for shortcuts.
“Alright, alright, I don’t want to get eaten by a tiger either. This time I’ll make sure it’s sturdy, okay?”
Mature Dwarf pondered and said, “Rebuilding is a good idea. Besides making it sturdy, let’s build it bigger so Snow White can live more comfortably.”
“Yes! Let’s make her a big bed. Our beds are way too small for her.”
“But how do we build it?”
At this moment, Snow White said, “Look, I’ve already drawn up the house plans. Each of you will have your own room, and the main door will face this direction. This way, it will be warm in winter, cool in summer, and the view will be lovely. Take a look and let me know if there’s anything to change.”
“It’s perfect!”
The next day, they went to choose wood.
“Lazy, how about this tree?”
“Definitely not. It’s hollowed out by bugs. But… it should be lighter to carry and easier to saw through…”
“Have you not learned your lesson yet?”
Everyone ignored him.
“Lazy, how many nails should we use here?”
“We should use three, but one would probably do. It saves time and effort.”
“Alright, enough about saving time and effort.”
…
Although the house took a little longer to build and was more tiring, when they finally moved in, they felt all the hard work was worth it. The house was beautiful and spacious!
The living room and each room were decorated with paintings Snow White had made. She truly was talented and capable of so much!
Outside, they planted beautiful flowers, fruits, and vegetables. It looked like they wouldn’t have to worry about food.
The new cottage was both lovely and cozy!
