Story 2
During rush hour, the train car was extremely crowded. A man, worried that his wallet might get stolen, put his hand in his pocket to protect it.
To his surprise, he didn’t feel his wallet but instead touched another hand.
The man gasped: There really was a thief!
Just as he was about to grab that hand and shout for help, the hand suddenly grabbed him back and shouted, “Thief!”
The man was furious. “You’re the thief! A thief crying thief!”
“You are shameless!”
“You’re the shameless one!”
The argument grew heated, and the two men turned red with anger.
At that moment, another man nearby suddenly yelled, “Shut up!”
The two turned to him and snapped, “Who are you to shout at us? What’s it to you?”
“What’s it to me? Then would you two idiots take your hands out of my pockets!”
Story 1
A man lost his bag and had no choice but to head to work empty-handed.
When he got off the subway, he forgot that he no longer had his bag. Out of habit, he grabbed a nearby bag and started walking away.
Suddenly, he heard a woman shout loudly, “Thief! Catch the thief!”
Only then did he realize that he was holding the bag belonging to the woman who had been sitting next to him.
He hurriedly returned the bag to her and explained the situation, but from the look in her eyes, it was clear she didn’t believe him at all.
After work, he quickly went to buy a new bag. Thinking about what had happened earlier, he bought several bags just to avoid a similar mishap in the future.
As soon as he boarded the subway, he ran into the same woman from that morning. From her expression, he seemed to sense something.
Sure enough, she looked at the several bags in his hands and, with a tone both sarcastic and angry, said, “Looks like you had quite a successful day!”
